Welsh Devastation – Three days in a driver’s paradise

In early 2014 a few friends and I hatched a magnificent plan to hire a car for a week, drive through Europe, and stop off in Norway for the annual super-carnage that is Gatebil Rudskogen. Unfortunately, like many great schemes, it fizzled into nothingness. What began with immeasurable enthusiasm quickly descended into depressing realisations of lacking funds and uncooperative calendars.
